Roller Doll Name: Crystallion
Current Team: Green Barrettes
Years in league: 1.5 (I played in Reno on the Battle Born Derby Demons for 2 years prior to Denver Roller Dolls)
Position: Blocker/Pivot
Hometown: San Diego, Calif.

Why did you join the Denver Roller Dolls?

I watched them play at the Denver Coliseum and was impressed with their skills. Also, their practice schedule worked for my work schedule.

What was your most memorable moment on the track?

I love being on the track for the first jam of the bout and feeling sick and nervous and excited at the same time. As for me making a memorable moment…I’m not sure, maybe you should ask my teams I’ve been on, but I like giving whips and pushes to my teammates especially if its caught on film. A whip looks awesome on camera.

What are the top three reasons why someone should be a Denver Roller Doll fan?

Skill, Professionalism, and Fun. You come out here and your going to see speed skating, power hits, and excellent strategy along with positive sportswomanship while having a great time. And there’s food, beer, and free prizes! It can’t get any better than that.

What do you like to do when you are off the track?

Work out, hang out, get massages, travel, visit family, watch movies, do my nails, crochet, go sledding/skiing, go to the museum/zoo free days, whatever is available I’ll try it. I like to be active and I get bored and feel counterproductive while sitting around all day.

What was the most recent movie that made you cry?

Tsotsi…the last 2 minutes made me squeeze some out.

How long would you last in a horror movie?

The whole time, but I may have to cover my eyes or ears a couple of times.

Ketchup or catsup?

Ketchup…however both of them sound kind of goofy. Maybe I’ll start calling it something else like tomajuice or matosquish…its a work in progress.
