Current Team: Shotgun Betties // Bruising Altitude
Years in league: I’ve been with DRD for a year. I played with Mobile Roller Derby (Mobile, Ala.) for 2 years prior.
Position: Blocker // Pivot
Hometown: Mobile, Ala. (by way of Montgomery, Ala.)

Why did you join the Denver Roller Dolls?
When I found out I’d be moving to Denver, I emailed DRD to see if they’d let me transfer. I was really impressed with their thoughtful and organized transfer process. I also had (have) a derby crush on Angela Death.

What was your most memorable moment on the track?
I got lead jammer once during a practice scrimmage. I was so excited I did jazz hands for an entire lap.

What are the top three reasons why someone should be a Denver Roller Doll fan?
1. We’re dedicated to legitimizing, popularizing and testing the limits of the sport.
2. Our philanthropic efforts within the Denver community are genuine and impactful.
3. We need you to help us continue making reasons 1 and 2 happen.

What do you like to do when you are off the track?
Heavy metal cross stitching, elevator karaoke, interpretive driving. You know, just regular stuff.

What’s on your wish list for your Birthday?
I’d like to dye my hair pink and get a tattoo of Jupiter in New Orleans. Not “Jupiter in New Orleans.” I mean I’d get the tattoo in New Orleans, but it would look like the planet, Jupiter. Screw it, that’s too confusing. Just take me to Cracker Barrel for pancakes and candy.

If you could be any character in fiction, who would you be and why?
I’d be Apollonia for obvious reasons. Except I would never have fallen for the ol’ “Lake Minnetonka” trick.

A stitch in time saves nine what?
Nine additional stitches. See, it’s a parable that teaches– wait a minute, are you trying to push your morals on me? GET OFF MY LAWN.??

Do cemetery workers prefer the graveyard shift? ?

I think every shift at a cemetery is the graveyard shift. Is there a rush hour? I think I would definitely prefer the graveyard shift to rush hour at the cemetery. I am not prepared for the zombie apocalypse!
